Late Start

Since I got home from vacation I just can't seem to get organized. I suppose it was having nine days off work. I really hated going back and when I did I worked seven days straight. I was off Tues, but spent the day with my daughter and grandson. I had not seen much of them in the last few weeks, so I needed to make up for lost time.
My birthday is tomorrow so we celebrated it early since and my daughter, her boyfriend and my grandson will be out of town with my ex and his lady friend for the weekend in the mountains. She made supper for me (and my hubby) and we had a cake.







My grandson "helped" decorate it and also helped me blow out the candles.
Since it is so close to Halloween he put pumpkins and ghost on it and we used a Halloween table cloth. As you can see my daughter is just like me when it comes to Halloween and loves to decorate her house.










I am actually behind. I usually have mine done before now, but I am off this weekend (thank goodness) so I will drag out my boxes of things then. I plan on cleaning my carpets first (they are long over due) and also clean my couch and love seat.
Also this weekend my husband and I plan on taking a trip to the Civil War battlefield in Petersburg VA. I will be posting photos early next week from there
