Deck the halls

Well I finally got the tree finished. The boxes put away and the floors vacuumed. That was chore. I'm not much on Christmas, and really did it this year mostly for my grandson. I enjoyed seeing his eyes this morning when he got up and saw the lights on the tree. I've had a busy day already and I'm heading out in a few minutes for a late lunch with my daughter and her boyfriend *Yes the one who treats her like a queen* I plan on stopping at the grocery store and buying ingredients for cookies. I haven't done Christmas baking in years, and was inspired by Pea. She posted some recipes for some yummy cookies a few days ago, and I can't stop thinking about them.
I also plan on making fudge this year and some banana nut bread. It won't all get finished today, but I hope to start.
Anyway here are some photos of the little bit of decorating I did.

It is hard to get into it. I haven't looked for a tree yet. We are getting the yucky weather today.

I need to start bitchin and griping about a tree.
I didn't want to say anything about tree until we had our new furnace in and they just finish putting it in.

Your decorations look lovely. I haven't had time to do mine yet ... hopefully over the weekend.
Have a great weekend.
Take care, Meow
