In between photos

Well the work yesterday went fairly smooth. The workers arrived about 8:30 and were finished by 11. I was hoping that the floor guys would arrive yesterday too, but no such luck. So far they haven't come yet this morning. Grrrrr. Once they are finished then I still have to wait for someone to come in and repaint.




You can see how dirty the wall is where they took out the old stuff. What a mess! I hope I don't have to wait all week for everything to be finished up. The letter we got from the apartment complex stated that the work would be done in one to FIVE days, so as you can see it is going to be a long week. Other than the food I got most of the plates/bowls and things back in the cabinets. If you notice we lost the island which held my can goods and things so I'm going tonight when I get off work and buy a storage cupbord to hold them.
The bathroom does look better and I also need to buy an over the toliet type of thingie to hold what use to be in the drawers in there



The first one of the bathroom is with the old mirror and sink/vanity. We weren't suppose to get a new mirror but when they started banging in the kitchen they cracked it. I was happy, I think the smaller mirror looks better over the sink.


I can't believe that someone just put the old one over this big hole.

Once they repair it I may paint a color in there. I'm sick of off white. We will have to paint it back if we ever move out, but at lest for now it will be something different. I have already bought a new shower curtain and rugs.


Well I am off to work, keep your fingers crossed that I will have new flooring when I come home. I hate it when things are all out of place. It is the Libra in me. I need my balance. Balance to me means NOT ALL OVER THE HOUSE!!
