March Moon
I had planned on blogging about tonight's full moon and lunar eclipse. Unfortunately I was busy doing laundry here
When I did finally find time to look up the moon was already returning to normal.
I did manage to grab this shot of it looking like this
A couple of hours later I took some of the moon again.
The photo is a bit off center, but look how beautiful she is. Whenever I sit outside and look at a full moon something deep inside me that I can't explain is stirred. It is like an ancient calling that only my soul seems to understand and I can never quite put into words.
This photo was taken yesterday when the moon was 99% full. I love the way it looks shinning through the tree branches.
There is lots of lore and information about the full moon, and while out visiting some of my favortie blogs today I dropped into Blogikal. Stop in if you have time and read the post on the moon. They have some information on it, along with some other great information about full moon Esbats(rituals)

Hi Autumn - I have sent the partner details three times - are they in your 'junk' folder? I don't know what else I can do to get them to you :(
Love your moon pictures, especially the one thru the trees!
It was cloudy here last night so I missed most of the eclipse but then the clouds drifted away and I was able to see the last half hour of it!! I always find an eclipse so fascinating!!
loved your pictures...I've always loved to look at a full moon too...and never managed to get a good picture of it!
:-D
Hi Patty - sorry to comment re the hippy swap again but I just sent the details to your other email address.
Out on the west coast we didn't get to see the lunar eclipse. Plus it was cloudy here.
I looked on my witches calendar they'll be a lunar eclipse in August.
But the problem it start 3PM eastern time and so that would be high noon for me.
But I notice later on this month their is solar eclipse.
But hubby said it south of the equator.
Nice picture of the moon.
Those moon pictures are out of this world. :)
Great shots of the moon! I've always been fascinated with eclipses.
