Whoosh
Well I am once again a gainfully employed woman. Yep, I start work tomorrow at the mall. I got a job at one of the "better department stores". I had to take a little bit of a cut in pay and will not have as good of hours as I did at the pet store but work is work, and as I always say life goes on. At lest things will get back to a somewhat normal state here and my bill collectors will be happy. It will be kind of fun to dress up again and not be full of dog hair and smell like the animal shelter.
I did enjoy having a few days off to call my own but really didn't get a lot done. I did get a good start on cleaning my always messy bedroom and managed to sort through my side of the closet and organize a bit.
I started cleaning with this...but realized that the hose was stopped up and the bag had blown. When I opened it up Dust and dirt went everywhere!
I bought this cleaner several years ago, and have never been happy with it, so instead of trying to get it fixed I got this
I hope it will do a good job for me, and at lest pick up the dog and cat hair.
`
My daughter and I did a bit of shopping this afternoon. Our first stop was at
World Market. where I found this
It is a fun little piece of brightly colored birds(I think they are folk art chickens) strung together with a bead in between and a bell at the end.
I managed to make a mental wish list for myself while I was there, and once things settle in from the new job I hope to do some more serious shopping there.
Well that is about all that is new in my world.

Whoopee on the new job! I'm sure you will be a success. Smelling better than wet dog is always good :)
Very cool find at the WM. Wish we had one here :(
Have a glorious day!
Money isn't everything. My friend Alice does home care like I do makes more an hour then I do but she got a pain in the rear for client.
I make less an hour but I got sweet heart for client.
I hope all goes well for you and your new job. Congratulation!!!
Hey Autumn!!! Glad you found a new job and I hope you enjoy it. Dang, I didn't realize that vacuum bags really COULD explode!!!! And what a cute bird wall-hanging!!! If that's just a small sample of what the world market has, I can't say as I blame ya for already having a mental wishlist made up!!!! LOL
Thanks for coming by my place & your comments!
Yay! That spell work paid off. I'm so happy you found a job. Sounds like it will work out and that's the important part.
I've had a Dirt Devil for about eight years and am very happy with it. For a basic vacuum, it's perfect. I hope it works out well for you too!
Hey, what you doing with my vaccuum cleaner??? lol I bought myself the exact same Dirt Devil and I love it! It really does pick up well and is easy to maintain. Congratulations on finding a job!! Woohoo! I do hope you'll be happy there:-) Very best of luck!! I love that bird mobile or whatever it's called...just gorgeous! xox
a new vaccuum is like new socks. Gotta love it.
I have the same birds from the World Market Day. They are cute!
