Sky Watch Friday-March 14, 08
This is what the sky looked like outside of my apartment a few months ago. The building next door was destroyed by fire. We we woke up about 5 am by firefighters telling everyone to get out. It was really fightening, but thankfully no one was hurt.

Wow Patty.. I bet that was a scary sight to see. I have seen a few skies that seemed to be on fire with the colouring but this is the real thing..
Thank you for taking the time to link to Sky Watch in your post..

Those flames look quite dramatic in the night sky, I enjoyed your posts with the doors, i may have to join Thursday Doors theme
I notice your dog is named Lucy, we have a Yellow Labrador named Lucy, she is 12 years old.
There is someone else with a Lucy dog on one of the blogs.
Wow, scary, so close. We are having bushfires at the moment because of the heatwave. Some homes have been lost. It is so devestating.
Dramatic photo.
I guess it must have been a frightning moment.
The contrast between darkness and the orange of flames makes it dramatic.
How very frightening. What an interesting photo however. We had a skyline like that two summers ago because of forest fires outside our little town.
How sad! As quiet paths said, this is very interesting, though. And beautiful.
Dramatic and sad photo, but it's a beautiful shot!
Have a nice weekend:)
Dramatic shot!

How frightening and sad for your neighbors. Beautiful shot. Fires are so compelling to watch, aren't they. Glad that everyone is okay.
