It is Sky Watch Friday, and today I am sharing a photo I took this week at Bush Gardens, Williamsburg Virginia. This is the new Sesame Street area for kids. Look how beautiful the castle is. This is a mini water park for the kids..Sprinklers everywhere. Just look at those fluffy clouds and blue sky. What a beautiful summer day!

My sky watch photo is going up a bit early this week. I am working tonight and tomorrow and tomorrow night I will not be blogging because I will be busy watching Most Haunted on the travel channel. They will be LIVE in Gettysburg PA. As some of you know we just got home about two weeks ago from there. It was so beautiful and peaceful there (see last weeks sky watch photo), so of course I am posting another shot of the beautiful sky there for this week's Sky Watch. Sky Watch Oct. 3

It's been several weeks since I have found the time to post a photo to he Friday Sky Watch. My local sky seemed to always look the same, so I was excited when I made a recent trip to Gettysburg PA. If you have never been this somewhere I highly recommend visiting. Especially if you have any interest at all in the American Civil War. Along with being a haven of history it is a truly beautiful and peaceful place. Evening was my favorite time and I am sure for this photo you can see why.

I love this shot. Birds flying high and alone always make me feel a sense of freedom. Just think how wonderful it must be to soar along. Not a care in the world. This guy certainly seems to be enjoying his day. Do you think knew he would be shown on Sky Watch Friday and is just showing off for the camera?

Sky Watch Friday

Wow this week has flown by and Sky Watch Friday is here again. I have been on vacation and have had the chance to visit several different places. I am posting a few of my favorite sky shots for your enjoyment.

Our Sky went from this series of of clouds in about a ten minute span tonight as a thunderstorm rolled in. It produced some hail and rain, then cleared almost as fast as it came.
