Space Junk and Wild Rides

Did you hear that loud boom last night? Well you did if you live in my neck of the woods. Its seems about 9:30 last night "something" exploded. No one seems to know for sure what it was but from what I have read in the on line news reports for my area, it was a piece of Russian space junk. Or maybe a meteor, they don't seem to know for sure. All the officials are saying is "something". What ever it was made a bright light in the sky and went ka boom. It was heard from Maryland to the Eastern shore of North Carolina. I personally thing "someone" screwed up "something" and it wasn't suppose to go ka boom over land.

Loud noises weren't the only exciting thing that happened yesterday. I went on my first trip to Busch Gardens in years and years.

We arrived early and you can see from the parking lot behind my daughter and grandson there were not a lot of people there. This was great because it meant there wouldn’t be long lines.

101_0166

We hoped on the shuttle bus for the short ride to the main gate.

101_0169

Where my daughter who is so duh, realized she had left her pass in the car.

101_0179

My grandson entertained me while she went back to get it by playing with some rocks

and walking around in circles near these beautiful flower beds.

101_0172

Rebecca soon arrived back and it was off again into the main park.

101_0180

Our first stop was a the pet show where we enjoyed a variety of animals doing tricks.

101_0196

From there we hit the rides.

101_0221

Our first one was the merry go round

101_0223

From there we went to the Land of Dragons, where we were greeted by this fun guy.

101_0236

Cody had fun in the ladybug ride and also in the boat.

101_0237

I enjoyed watching him and was wishing that grown ups could climb in too. But they don’t allow it. Instead they try and get you to go on THESE

101_0271

Yep Roller Coasters! Busch Gardens is famous for them. I told my daughter there was NO WAY I was climbing on board, but opted instead to enjoy them from photos.

I really think this might be more my style

101_0249

Instead we opted for a train ride.

Which took us to different areas of the park, where we shopped and had a snack

To add even more fun for Cody we got his face painted.

Can you guess who he wants to be?

101_0283

Yep, your right..It is SPIDER MAN! and here is the finished look.

101_0284

Of course he had to show off to everyone

101_0301

We also stopped in to watch the Sesame Street Movie, which was in 3D and a lot of fun

101_0181

101_0182

Next time we go a new Sesame Street area will be open for the kids with lots more rides and entertainment.

We were getting tired by now, so we thought it was time to visit some more animals.

Here are some of them

101_0261

Just look at the size of those feet

We headed back towards the exit and took a few more photos

Log Ride

Yep that is us as we came down the log ride. We were soaking wet, so it was time to get back on the tram for the best ride of the day.

The one back to the car!

I hope you enjoyed my day at Busch Gardens. I am sure since I have a pass for the year I will be going often.

Thanks for reading my blog and I will post again soon!

Dear Anonymous

I recieved a comment over on my paranormal blog and though that since most of the post there are also on this blog I should address the comment on this blog also. That way there is no question about how I feel about this type of thing.
My apoligies to those of you who hate to hear this type of thing but it does happen

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "The Difference Between Ghosts and Spirits":

Jennifer

I think you are watching to much TV.

What you stated is incorrect. Ghost and Spirits are one of the same. There is no difference.

What you need to do is put down the TV remote control and go to the library and do some research.

Before you post anything on the Internet about the paranormal, please know what you are talking about.

Don't mislead the public with what you've learned from TV's Sci-Fi channel.

Next time, please know the facts before the post anything

Dear Anonymous
First of all thank you for the nasty comment, it is always so nice to know people care and that they have nothing better to do with their time than to go around and criticize others. However Next time you plan on leaving a comment nasty or other wise you should be sure and scroll down to the bottom of the blog and read the disclaimer. THIS BLOG IS FOR ENTERTAIMENT ONLY therefore nothing should be taken seriously Most of my post on local folk lore/hauntings are based on information that I have taken from other sources. I can not be held responsible if these sources are incorrect. Second of all I am NOT Jennifer. If you had read the entire post you would know that that particular article was from someone named Jennifer who runs a paranormal group. I, ME, PATTY do not belong to any said groups. Again if you had taken time to read the blog you would know this. I have repeated several times on this blog that I write this for fun, I ghost hunt for fun and blogging should be for fun, and not for others to run around and leave nasty comments on. So if you will pardon me, I'm going back to my TV now. I think there is a rerun of ghost hunters on.

P.S. I also reserve the right to moderate comments and if you come back by again yours will be deleted and the moderation turned on. And just so you don't miss it. I am posting the disclaimer here again

Please note that this blog is for entertainment only. Most areas of this blog do deal with ghost, hauntings and the paranormal. I understand not everyone believes in ghost or hauntings. If you feel uneasy about these subjects please skip this blog and continue on to somewhere else. Comments are always welcome, but I reserve the right to delete those that are offensive to me or those who do believe in ghost and hauntings. Most of my post on local folk lore/hauntings are based on information that I have taken from other sources. I can not be held responsible if these sources are incorrect. In talking about the Paranormal I will usually let you know if this is a personal experience that has happened to myself or someone I know. Most but not all photos used on this blog have been taken by me personally. I usually try to let you know within the post if I have "borrowed" a photo from somewhere else. Please keep in mind that a blog is just that. A personal diary. Nothing written within these post will be published by me anywhere other than on a blog.I am not an author, or a paranormal investigator. I do not associate with any group publicly that is a licensed group of the Paranormal. Again. These post are for entertainment only

Family Fun

Busch Gardens opened over the weekend here in Williamsburg VA. My daughter bought her pass and went on Sunday. I should be getting my pass for this upcoming weekend. Although I have been living near the park for several years now I haven't been. Matter of fact I haven't been in about 15 years. I am not big on riding rides, but now that my grandson is getting older I will enjoy watching him in the kiddie area.
Here is a sneak preview of what they offer there.

That Mario Doll is almost as big as my grandson

Merry Go Round Fun

Boat Ride

Lady Bug

This is Papa (my ex) who is just as big of a kid as the grandson ha ha
