Wheel of the year photos

I thought I would post my monthly wheel of the year photo's a few days early. I have the morning off, the sun is shining and life is moving forward.

The front door has been painted. Last month it was red. Now it is a strange shade of green with olive green trim.

Construction is still going on. At lest they have a trash bin to put it all it.

The log is still under the tree...I wonder if I should toss it in the trash bin

This use to be a laundry room. I don't know why they don't just knock it on down. It has looked like this for about three weeks now.

It looks like the neighbors behind the apartment complex are planning on trimming some tree branches. Being the romantic I am I hope some good looking rich man has just stored the ladder there and he is planning on using it to climb up to my daughters balcony window and transport her away to a life of love and happiness.

This last one is of my patio. I wonder, does having tomatoes in a pot qualify me the title of Farmer?

Book Store

Never...I repeat NEVER let me in a Barnes and Noble alone again!!
I went in to buy a post card to send to a friend, and the next thing I knew this unseen force was pulling me to the bargain aisle. I couldn't help myself. I bought FOUR books. I couldn't leave them there. The most expensive one was only $7.98.
I don't know what made me buy books. I don't have time to read books. Maybe some alien took control of my body. Maybe it was a hot flash and I thought that a book cover would make a good fan. I am not sure why I bought them I just did..
Ok, your right, At my age I should stop trying to make excuses. So here is the truth. I bought them because I wanted to...So There!!

Weeks Worth Of Nothing

This has been one of those weeks where nothing has really happened.(Thank goodness)
I had three days off of work which is unusual, but the owner of the store I work at got a bug up his butt and decided to cut hours. For anyone who doesn't know. I work at pet supply store. It is privately own, and in competition with Pet Smart which is just around the corner and a large nation wide chain. Our store on the other hand consist of just two stores. One here and one in Virginia Beach, about 40 miles away.
Now I know every business has it slow time, but this place is S L O W. I really don't know how they stay open. Supposedly the catalog sales generated from the net keep us going. Anyway as I said the owner got a bug up his butt and the hours went bye bye. I won't mind so much except they recently hired TWO new people..One full time and one part time. Now for the life of me, if they are slow already, and are needing to cut hours. Why would you hire someone else. I just don't get it. I suppose that is why I am the lowly peon and not the owner..Jeesh!

Oh well, I enjoyed the extra time off and took the day to get some long over due unpacking done from the recent move. I finally bought a full size crib for my grandson to sleep in. He is spending five out of seven nights a week here and I hated seeing him in the port a crib. I know he must be sleeping better now.
He is growing so fast. Walking all over the house now. Nothing is safe. I forgot how fast they can move at this age. He is having a ball with the new kitten.
I really enjoy having him even if I am feeling my age. Ha Ha.

I'm not sure what will happen next week though. The store manager shuffled the hours around that the owner cut this week, so she can keep the full time people at 40 hours. She had to cut the part timers even more to do this. So instead of working us days and them nights. She put me on for two nights next week till closing. Now I have been with this company for almost three months and have only had to work two nights past seven. i was not hired on for nights. I keep my grandson at night. DUH!!
My daughter will have to go to work BEFORE I get off those nights. It looks like either my husband or pa pa (ex hubby) will have to baby sit for a couple of hours.
This isn't horrible, but I can't help but wonder if both of them put together can figure out how to get him feed, bathed and in bed ha ha. His mama will have to be at work before he gets sleepy. It should be an interesting experience.

Anyway eveyone enjoy your weekend. I am working everyday...Seems like if they were going to cut hours they would have at lest including one stinking weekend in there. GRRRRRRRR

Today is my day off so I spent it catching up on my blog reading. I always enjoy reading Purple Moon Garden, and today Mama Kelly was talking about her reaction to the season finale of The Medium (Short summary for those of you who either don't watch or missed the show. Allison had a dream that she was living an entirely different life with a different husband. She had no children and a different career.) Mama Kelly pointed out how we have to look at the things that have happened in our life and accept them as they are. Have you ever thought about how different your life would be if you changed one thing from the past? I have because changing one thing would change everything else we have ever done. I look at it much like the Butterfly Effect ("The butterfly effect is the idea that in a chaotic system, a
very small change to the system applied at a certain point in time makes the future change in a very dramatic way. Something as small as a butterfly flapping its wings now might affect the weather system on a global scale six
months in the future.") In other words If we do one thing now it will change the out come later on. I sat and thought about this awhile and the choices I have made in my life.
Then I questioned myself...What would I have done different?
Lots came the answer back to me...Lots...

Feel free to comment on what you would change if you had it to do over again.

A little decorating fun

I think I mentioned a few months ago that I collected chickens. I thought just for fun I would take some photos of them. This is not my entire collection. I have some glass ones packed away in a box because I have run out of room to display them.
Also I thought while I was at it I would show you my "witchy wall". I still have several things I want to rearrange, and some clothes and things in my bedroom to sort though, but at lest the majority of the unpacking is almost finished. We set up a crib tonight in the spare bedroom for my grandson, and I have that area clean now. I really hate moving. Nothing ever seems to go where it did before. Oh well, at lest I'm settling in.

The Lady of Shalott

I have this picture hanging over my couch. It is my favorite

Tennyson's poem 'The Lady of Shallott' published in 1883 tells of a woman suffering under an undisclosured curse, and living isolated in a tower near King Arthur's castle. She is allowed to see the outside world only through its reflection in a mirror. One day she glimpses the handsome knight Lancelot reflected and cannot resist looking at him directly. The punishment that follows results in her drifting in her boat downstream to Camelot 'singing her last song,' but dying before reaching there. Waterhouse shows her letting go the boat's chains, while staring at the crucifix, placed in front of the three glittering candles.

On either side the river lie
Long fields of barley and of rye,
That clothe the wold and meet the sky;
And through the field the road run by
To many-tower'd Camelot;
And up and down the people go,
Gazing where the lilies blow
Round an island there below,
The island of Shalott.

Willows whiten, aspens quiver,
Little breezes dusk and shiver
Through the wave that runs for ever
By the island in the river
Flowing down to Camelot.
Four grey walls, and four grey towers,
Overlook a space of flowers,
And the silent isle imbowers
The Lady of Shalott.

By the margin, willow veil'd,
Slide the heavy barges trail'd
By slow horses; and unhail'd
The shallop flitteth silken-sail'd
Skimming down to Camelot:
But who hath seen her wave her hand?
Or at the casement seen her stand?
Or is she known in all the land,
The Lady of Shalott?

Only reapers, reaping early,
In among the bearded barley
Hear a song that echoes cheerly
From the river winding clearly;
Down to tower'd Camelot;
And by the moon the reaper weary,
Piling sheaves in uplands airy,
Listening, whispers, " 'Tis the fairy
The Lady of Shalott."

There she weaves by night and day
A magic web with colours gay.
She has heard a whisper say,
A curse is on her if she stay
To look down to Camelot.
She knows not what the curse may be,
And so she weaveth steadily,
And little other care hath she,
The Lady of Shalott.

And moving through a mirror clear
That hangs before her all the year,
Shadows of the world appear.
There she sees the highway near
Winding down to Camelot;
There the river eddy whirls,
And there the surly village churls,
And the red cloaks of market girls
Pass onward from Shalott.

Sometimes a troop of damsels glad,
An abbot on an ambling pad,
Sometimes a curly shepherd lad,
Or long-hair'd page in crimson clad
Goes by to tower'd Camelot;
And sometimes through the mirror blue
The knights come riding two and two.
She hath no loyal Knight and true,
The Lady of Shalott.

But in her web she still delights
To weave the mirror's magic sights,
For often through the silent nights
A funeral, with plumes and lights
And music, went to Camelot;
Or when the Moon was overhead,
Came two young lovers lately wed.
"I am half sick of shadows," said
The Lady of Shalott.

A bow-shot from her bower-eaves,
He rode between the barley sheaves,
The sun came dazzling thro' the leaves,
And flamed upon the brazen greaves
Of bold Sir Lancelot.
A red-cross knight for ever kneel'd
To a lady in his shield,
That sparkled on the yellow field,
Beside remote Shalott.

The gemmy bridle glitter'd free,
Like to some branch of stars we see
Hung in the golden Galaxy.
The bridle bells rang merrily
As he rode down to Camelot:
And from his blazon'd baldric slung
A mighty silver bugle hung,
And as he rode his armor rung
Beside remote Shalott.

All in the blue unclouded weather
Thick-jewell'd shone the saddle-leather,
The helmet and the helmet-feather
Burn'd like one burning flame together,
As he rode down to Camelot.
As often thro' the purple night,
Below the starry clusters bright,
Some bearded meteor, burning bright,
Moves over still Shalott.

His broad clear brow in sunlight glow'd;
On burnish'd hooves his war-horse trode;
From underneath his helmet flow'd
His coal-black curls as on he rode,
As he rode down to Camelot.
From the bank and from the river
He flashed into the crystal mirror,
"Tirra lirra," by the river
Sang Sir Lancelot.

She left the web, she left the loom,
She made three paces through the room,
She saw the water-lily bloom,
She saw the helmet and the plume,
She look'd down to Camelot.
Out flew the web and floated wide;
The mirror crack'd from side to side;
"The curse is come upon me," cried
The Lady of Shalott.

In the stormy east-wind straining,
The pale yellow woods were waning,
The broad stream in his banks complaining.
Heavily the low sky raining
Over tower'd Camelot;
Down she came and found a boat
Beneath a willow left afloat,
And around about the prow she wrote
The Lady of Shalott.

And down the river's dim expanse
Like some bold seer in a trance,
Seeing all his own mischance --
With a glassy countenance
Did she look to Camelot.
And at the closing of the day
She loosed the chain, and down she lay;
The broad stream bore her far away,
The Lady of Shalott.

Lying, robed in snowy white
That loosely flew to left and right --
The leaves upon her falling light --
Thro' the noises of the night,
She floated down to Camelot:
And as the boat-head wound along
The willowy hills and fields among,
They heard her singing her last song,
The Lady of Shalott.

Heard a carol, mournful, holy,
Chanted loudly, chanted lowly,
Till her blood was frozen slowly,
And her eyes were darkened wholly,
Turn'd to tower'd Camelot.
For ere she reach'd upon the tide
The first house by the water-side,
Singing in her song she died,
The Lady of Shalott.

Under tower and balcony,
By garden-wall and gallery,
A gleaming shape she floated by,
Dead-pale between the houses high,
Silent into Camelot.
Out upon the wharfs they came,
Knight and Burgher, Lord and Dame,
And around the prow they read her name,
The Lady of Shalott.

Who is this? And what is here?
And in the lighted palace near
Died the sound of royal cheer;
And they crossed themselves for fear,
All the Knights at Camelot;
But Lancelot mused a little space
He said, "She has a lovely face;
God in his mercy lend her grace,
The Lady of Shalott."

Remember the old saying. Kids say the darndest things. Well I believe it. Today at work a lady came in with her son who looked to be about four and there dog. Hi I said, Hi she replied. I reached down to pet the dog and she told me that they just adopted him that day from the SPCA. Wonderful I said, and ask what his name was. She said he didn't have one yet. As the mom and I were talking the little boy looked me in the eye and said. This is a boy dog. He has a BIG penis, just like me. I tried not to laugh. Kids...What can you say. Mom hurried back towards the dog food isle and I went back to work.

God warns of coastal storms, possible tsunami, Robertson says

By STEVEN G. VEGH, The Virginian-Pilot
© May 17, 2006

VIRGINIA BEACH — Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson is warning that, according to God, storms and possibly a tidal wave will pound America’s coastline this year.

Robertson raised the forecasts at least four times in the past two weeks on “The 700 Club,” the TV show produced by the Christian Broadcasting Network in Virginia Beach. He founded CBN and hosts the program.

Robertson took credit in 1985 for praying Hurricane Gloria away from Virginia, a claim that earned him international attention. He said the revelations about this year’s weather came to him during his annual personal prayer retreat in January.
“If I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms,” Robertson said May 8. Today, he added, “there well may be something as bad as a tsunami in the Pacific Northwest.”

Widespread natural disasters, as well as conflict in the Middle East, are seen by many Pentecostals and charismatic Christians like Robertson as biblically decreed harbingers of the “end times.”

Turkish Spinach

I haven't posted a recipe in awhile so here goes. This original Turkish dish was given to me by my mother in law Edith

Yield: 1 casserole
1 1/4 lb Ground beef
2/3 Stick butter
1 c Diced onions
4 10 oz. boxes of frozen chopped spinach, thawed
1 cn 28 oz. Progresso Crushed Tomatoes with added puree'
1 ts (rounded) salt
1/2 c Water
1/2 c Rice IN_
1/4 c Water

Start by putting the 1/2 cup of rice in the 1/4 cup of water. In a one cup measure, this should bring it up to the 3/4 cup mark. In a large spaghetti pot, brown the meat in its own fat. Remove the meat and pour off the fat. In that same pot, melt the butter and lightly brown the onions. When done, add the cooked meat. Add the spinach. Add the tomato sauce, salt, water, and the water and rice that has been soaking. Mix thoroughly, and then cover and let simmer on a low flame for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. If needed, keep juicy by adding a little water or tomato juice. Serve with yogurt or sour cream and some French bread. As with other casseroles, it tastes better on the second day.

A Prayer

I found an interesting site today it is called World Prayers
There seems to be something there for every faith.
The first one I clicked on was written by Chief Yellow Lark a Lakota Indian. My thoughts immeditatly went to my friend Nancy. She has a wonderful blog. Please go by and tell her hello.

Oh, Great Spirit,
whose voice I hear in the winds
and whose breath gives life to all the world, hear me.
I am small and weak.
I need your strength and wisdom.

Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes
ever behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made
and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand
the things you have taught my people.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden
in every leaf and rock.

I seek strength, not to be superior to my brother,
but to fight my greatest enemy - myself.
Make me always ready to come to you
with clean hands and straight eyes,
so when life fades, as the fading sunset,
my spirit will come to you
without shame.

Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day

Generations of mothers on both my mom and dad's side. The last picture is of my mom, my daughter and myself, with my daughter holding her son.

Mom's mom raised 10 kids!

This is Sarah who lived during the civil war. Sherman marched though Atlanta and camped for three days and night on her land. She had to cook for them while they were there.

Middle of the night blogging

Let's just say this has not been a good night. We went to bed around midnight only to be woken up at 3:45 by a car horn going off. Now this was not the typical alarm, but a HORN...beep, beep, B E E P!! Both the hubby and myself went outside to see what was going on. (Which is a really dumb thing to do in this neighborhood at 4 am)Once we made sure it was not one of our cars we hurried back inside.
After waiting about 15 minutes we realized that the idiot that owns the car is either stoned, drunk, or dead because they were not coming outside. There was no way we could get back to sleep with the noise right outside our window so we called 9-1-1.
Well, all I can say is I am glad no one was bleeding to death. TWENTY FIVE minutes later, I called back. Someone is on the way they said. Geeze, where are they coming from Cleveland. Shortly after that the officer arrived, introduced himself, stating he was the courtesy officer for our complex (you can tell what a great neighborhood we live in if we have our own police officer), and went on to tell us that there was nothing that the police can do about the noise because we are on private property. They couldn't even look up the owner because the car had out of state plates. My hubby and I took a vote and ask him to shoot the car. I'm not sure what he did to it, but after another five minutes or so the noise stopped. Thank God. I'm really pissed. It's been an hour and now I am wide awake. To top it off my grandson woke up and I had to get him settled back down. Even the cat is awake! It is friggin 5 a.m. and I have to work at 8:30. I can tell already that it is NOT going to be a good day. Saturday's are always our busy day. I am going to be dragging.
I'm going to try and lay back down. Enjoy your day everyone

Old Photo's

Inspired by Connie Here are some photo's of me in my younger years.
The first one is not a very clear photo, but I was 15, the binkni was yellow poka dots

The next two were taken when I was about 16 or 17.

The one of me in the wedding dress was taken when I was 19, it was a short lived marriage, we only stayed together a few months. That is a story for another day when I have more time.

The one of the little girl is of my younger sister and myself. There are 20 years between us.

The next one is of my ex, our son and me..

And last but not least is me and my ex on our wedding day. I am including it becaue I know how much Es-TELL likes it.

Shark Tales

This is a picture of Es-TELL.Is it possible that I'm not the only one who is mad at her. Maybe someone feed her to the sharks, or maybe she told the shark something he didn't like and he ate her.

Busy Beavers

Just before my husband and I moved, the apartment complex we are in was bought out by new owners. Not only did the rent go up, (Mine is 45 dollars a month more than my daughter who moved in to her unit at the end of Jan.) but the new owners have gone construction crazy. All the buldings are getting a face lift. On there TO DO list is: New doors and windows, new heat and air units, new sidewalks, new carpet on the stairs, and paint. They are also re-siding the building next to me, and tearing down an old laundry room. The noise continues from sun up to sun down.

I came home from work a few days ago to find my door knob and lock covered in tape. I didn't mind that so much, I just tore a hole for the key.

This is the stairs leading to the door

What concerned me was who ever did the tape also put paper and tape over the porch light. That was THREE days ago. I took it off last night because no one has come back to finish up the paint. The paper was already scorched from the heat. What a bunch of idiots. I'm really surprised we didn't have a fire. If they come back and and get paint on the globe I guess they can bill me. I will go buy a new one. That will be cheaper than replacing everything I own.

Stress Level

I copied this from another blog. I have put the ones that have affected me in recent years in bold. I wonder how high the point level goes. Maybe I should buy the book.

This came from Dr. Phil book. He had a list in his book about life stress. Here is his list in the order he had it. Each fact had an amount of points added to it and that was your stress level.

Death of a child...Step son son in 1994

Death of a spouse

Death of a parent...My dad in 2003

Spouse's or partner's betrayal of trust

New marriage.....2000

Job change after age of 45.....Several

Conflict between you and your spouse.....Me and my ex spouse

Conflict with boss.....

Significant negative medical diagnosis.....

Change of home location.....I have moved 9 times in 8 years.

Conflict between you and your teenager.....Daugther for several years

40th, 50th birthdays.....My 50th birthday was two years ago

A traumatic injury.....

Taking care of elderly parents

Job Change.....several

Chronic pain.....

Best friend's betrayal.....My best friend took my ex's side in our divorce. It has taken me years to forgive her, and I still don't trust her.

Last child leaving home.....Daughter is now on her own

Purchase of a new car or house.....

Big family gatherings.....Dad's funeral

Overly demanding job

I am adding several of my own....

Daughter has baby. Both live with me, along with dead beat dad, dead beat dad move out, we move (again) and change jobs (again). Daughter goes to court to get dead beat dad to help her with child support. It is due today, he has already told her he doesn't have it.
She works two jobs while I help take care of grandson in addition to the recent move, a full time job, a husband and a ex who has a whinny tattle tale girl friend.

Also I deal with an ex wife..who takes ONE HALF of my husbands pay. I don't follow her around tattling to my husband about comments she make on other people's blogs.

It never stops amazing me that the ex's lady friend wonders why I keep telling her not to f*** with me!

I love the windows in my apartment. They have really deep ledges and make a perfect place for some of my collections.

Visiting daddy

Thankfully the visit my grandson had with his dad today went ok. My ex and I both were waiting outside my daughters this morning when dead beat showed up. My ex talked first pretty much telling him that this entire situation is BS and that he is not going to take the baby away from my daughter so he is wasting his time and money if he thinks he is. He was told in no uncertain terms that we will hire the best lawyer money can buy, and it will get ugly. Surprisingly he agreed that my grandson should stay with my daughter that his issue is only wanting visitation. That is fine as long as he takes care of the baby.
I hate all this, it is tearing my heart out and bringing back some bitter memories of my divorce and the hurt I feel at how my ex treated me over the children at the time. Him and I sat down this morning and had a talk about what happened back then. We both have different memories of what happened back in those days, but we both know that is the past and our grandson is what is important now.
Anyway week one down. I just hope things continue to go smoothly

Friday, May 5, 2006

I need to vent, so here goes. Today has not been a good day. Matter of fact almost everything about this day has SUCKED.
My daughter took her son's dad to court today for custody and child support.
My grandson is going to be a year old in a few weeks and his dad is dead beat dad. He has not paid one penny in child support to her since last Dec. I say good riddance to bad rubbish myself. If the guy fell off the face of the earth tomorrow I would dance for joy. He is a jerk, he is on drugs, doesn't work a real job, has no car, and lives in a trailer with his parents. This kid is 22 years old. Like I said rubbish. Anyway him and my daughter tried for awhile to work things out and couldn't so she took him to court. She was asking for custody, offering visitation, and seeking child support. Something that shouldn't have been a problem for any normal person, but I should have known better, there is nothing normal about this family. From day one they have given my daughter hell. The other grandma is nuts, seriously she has some real issues, she takes a bath in her underwear. She claims she does it so that the water and soap won't get into her vagina and give her an infection. All righty I say..Weird lady. Anyway from the very beginning she has obsessed about the grandson. She has threatened on more than one occasion to kidnap him. She is on drugs, sleeps half the time and I wouldn't trust her to baby sit my kitten much less the baby. Grandpa is no better. He stays drunk, he is known for passing out on the porch, and Daddy himself is on meth. Of course we can prove none of this. So off to court we go. My daughter was told that nothing would be decided today, that today was the day they would set things up, assign a mediator, get home studies assigned and so on. Well, when we got there not only did none of that happen, the judge ordered a temporary custody, visitation, and child support order. My daughter was granted temporary custody (daddy wouldn't agree to custody claiming he doesn't want her to have it.) For what ever reason he has delusions and is thinking he will take his son and raise him (this man has never even changed a poopy diaper, has no idea what the baby eats, when he sleeps or what any of his needs or habits are) He can't take care of himself. Why in the hell would he think he can raise a baby.
Any this idiot judge gives him visitation without first making him take a parenting class. For the next three Saturdays in a row from 9 am until 6 pm he is allowed to have his son. Ok not to bad, we can live with that, but then to top it off the judge said starting in June he can have the baby over nights every other weekend. I am NOT happy, my daughter is not happy. I really had to bite my tongue, I knew if I opened my mouth I would be spending tonight in jail, but let me tell you I wanted to ask the judge if she was on some of that meth that daddy sells and uses. What an idiot.
Anyway that is settled and she moves on to the child support issues. Under Virginia Law, each parent pays a certain amount. Child care must be added into that.
with what my daughter and dead beat make he is suppose to pay her 438.00 a month. But because his "momma" offered to keep the baby for free the judge felt sorry for him and said my daughter doesn't have to accept the offer but since it was made that dead beat shouldn't have to pay the full amount of child support so she cut it down to 200 a month.
So my daughter just got screwed. She works TWO DAMN JOBS!! to keep her head above water. She pays 8 hundred a month for child care alone, plus rent, utilities etc etc. This little baby of a man lives with mommy, and he gets a break. What the fuck is wrong with this picture. He also was told that he can have a five day grace period to pay the support since he was just given the order today. My daughter was pissed. I reminded her that no amount of money is worth not having her child with her. I know that first hand. When her dad and I first seperated I signed an agreement forfiting his military retirement. I did it under duress, because he told me if I did not sign it that he would take my daughter away from me because I was living with someone else (now my husband). In this state he would have won, because it is against the law to live with someone you are not married to if you have a minor child in the house. I gave up close to a thousand a month because we were married 25 years, but you know what I don't care. My daughter was and is more important. I have struggled financially for the last eight years and I wouldn't trade a minute of it if it meant that I would not have legal rights to my daughter.
Anyway I am getting off subject here but like I said I am venting.

As far as my grandson goes:
We think they paid off the judge to slide things in there favor. They have been known to do things like that before. When dead beat was on probation (for drugs) last year, they bragged about how they paid there lawyer to pay off the judge to get him off. Of course we have no proof, but I know its true.
To top it off the family told the judge that they don't want my daughter on there property, because "she" causes problems. The last time my daughter went over there the psycho mom threw a coffee cup at her. That's ok, my daughter got the upper hand on that one. Dead beat has to come to her to pick the baby up. Serves him right. She can lounge in her pj's while he has to get up early.
Anyway for now all we can do is bite the bullet and let them see the baby. All I can do is hope and pray that they watch the baby and he comes home safely. They go back to court in September. This time we will hire a lawyer.
Now before I get nasty comments telling me how daddies have rights let me tell everyone that I have a son, him and his wife are separated and I have a grand daughter I have never seen. She is almost three. I have never once thrown a coffee cup at my daugther in law, or threathen to kidnap my grand daughter. Matter of fact, I have never taken a bath in my underware. My son pays child support every week, and has had no contact with his wife in about 6 months. She won't talk to him or us and my heart is broken, but I know it is not my fight so I stay out of it. I do understand that the other set of grandparents want to be part of our grandson's life. I really wouldn't mind it and my daughter wouldn't mind it if they would act right and not be so low life white trash redneck jerks. I also know the heart break of not seeing a child. My ex husband had a son he never knew or raised. My children had a brother they never knew. It was heart break when he did find us. We only had about 6 weeks together when the young man was killed in a car accident. It is a long involved story that I may blog about someday.
Anyway point here is I am not venting to be a bitch towards this family. I honesly have concerns for my grandsons safety. This family is not "normal" Everyone please keep the baby (and us) in your thoughts, and prayers.
I really hate men, I can see why so many women become lesbians after being with a man.

Wheel of the year photos (May)

It's time for me to post my wheel of the year photos. As you can see if you go back and look at what I have posted in previous months there are lots of changes. The biggest one of course is I have moved so the scenery has changed.
These were all taken outside of my back door.
