Wheel Of The Year (Jan)

Last year I started taking photos around my apartment complex and posting them here on my blog. Each month I would try and find the same area (or close to it) so that I could look back and see how things change. I have had a lot of fun with it and this month now marks my twelfth post. Once Again The Wheel Has Turned (December)

I can't believe how fast the days are flying. Wasn't it the 4th of July just last week? I took the dog for a walk this morning and remembered it is time for my wheel of the year photos again. I wish I could get the exact spot and angle every time I photograph around my apartment building, but it seems every month I see something a bit different so I just go with my feelings.

It's once again time for the wheel of the year photos..Welcome to Novemeber




The log is STILL there..I have a feeling no one is going to ever move it..If it is still there in the spring I'm going to stick it on my patio and take it to the campground and burn it.

Wheel Of The Year Photos (Oct.)

I can not believe how fast this year is going by. It seems that the month is changing faster than I can keep up. I am so far behind. I still haven't decorated for Samhain/Halloween. It is my favorite holiday and it is about to slip in here without anything being done. I did manage to find a few minutes yesterday to take my usual photos for the wheel of the year catagory I have been doing. I don't like living in the area of Virginia I'm in. We don't have a true fall here until late. Usually the tress turn for just a little while then fall off. As you an see nothing has changed colors yet. I am off Sunday and I think I'm going to insist to my hubby that we take a drive down the parkway in Williamsburg and see if I can't spot a few changes. I'm bored with green!

Wheel Of The Year (Sept)

Wow where has this month gone? I can't believe it is more than half over and I am just now taking photos. I really had hoped to get the exact same shot, a month apart but it hasn't worked out that way. Oh well, at lest I can look back and see the changes throughout the year. We haven't had much fall weather here yet. Warm weather usually holds on at lest until Nov. Regardless the wheel is turning and next week I will celebrate Mabon, better known as The fall or autumn equinox . It is also our local pagan pride day next Saturday and we plan to attend. There are usually some crafters there. Food and a ritual. I haven't been to one in a long time and I am looking forward to it. The fall is my favorite time of year, and I will be doing my decorating in the house soon.

Wheel of the year photos (August)

I can't believe how fast time is going by. It is already August 1st and time to post my wheel of the year photo's. If you have been following along. Once a month ( I try for the first but don't always get them in on time), to post photo's I have taken around my apartment complex. I think it is fun to see how much or in some cases how little things change in a month's time. If you want to see previous photos, just click on wheel of the year photos in my side bar.

As you can tell the lush plants I had a month ago are dead. I only got a few tomatoes off the vines..Oh well maybe next year.



No one has come to remove this log yet. I think this is the thrd time I have had photos of it on here. We are going in a couple of weeks. It should be nice and dry by now and if it is still there I am going to take it and burn it.

Wheel of the year (July)

With all that has been going on lately I have fallen behind in posting my wheel of the year photo's. I can't believe the month is almost half gone.

Several changes in the neighborhood since the last post. My tomatoes have grown and I got my first ripe one today. Construction at the apartment complex has slowed down, and summer is in full force.

 

Wheel of the year photos

I thought I would post my monthly wheel of the year photo's a few days early. I have the morning off, the sun is shining and life is moving forward.


The front door has been painted. Last month it was red. Now it is a strange shade of green with olive green trim.

Construction is still going on. At lest they have a trash bin to put it all it.

The log is still under the tree...I wonder if I should toss it in the trash bin

This use to be a laundry room. I don't know why they don't just knock it on down. It has looked like this for about three weeks now.

It looks like the neighbors behind the apartment complex are planning on trimming some tree branches. Being the romantic I am I hope some good looking rich man has just stored the ladder there and he is planning on using it to climb up to my daughters balcony window and transport her away to a life of love and happiness.

This last one is of my patio. I wonder, does having tomatoes in a pot qualify me the title of Farmer?

It's time for me to post my wheel of the year photos. As you can see if you go back and look at what I have posted in previous months there are lots of changes. The biggest one of course is I have moved so the scenery has changed.
