Why Me

Grrrrrr
I just did a 15 day forecast for Gettysburg and guess what. It is suppose to rain on Monday....Can you believe the bad luck. At lest we are going in on Sunday and will have that afternoon on the battlefield. I am so mad. I sure hope the forecast changes between now and then and if anything it is scattered showers. I am sure we can find plenty of indoor things to do, but what a pain in the butt to be there in the rain. Everyone start singing..Rain Rain Go Away

On the up side if it turns out to be thunderstorms that is a plus for Ghost Hunting. It is said that the energy of the storm helps manifest the spirits. So we will see what happens. All I know is I don't want the whole day wasted due to rain.

I have my list made and have started to gather together the things I need to take with us. I don't think I have ever been camping for four days before and even staying in cabin, I have come to realize that I need to take a humongous amount of things with me. I think I need a vacation to get ready for the vacation

Just 10 days to go now!

Oh it's quickly approaching isn't it? How exciting for you! Bummer about the rain but that is good news when it comes to ghost hunting, the ions in the air will be fully charged, especially if there's lightning. How spooky would that be?

I will cross my fingers for good weather for you. I hate camping in the freakin' rain. It makes me really, really crabby.

If you do have a rainy afternoon spend it at the museum or whatever it is called. It will keep you enthralled for hours. It did for us and Kristen, who was only about 10-11 at the time. And we didn't even go into the amphitheatre for presentations.

We mostly stayed in our car for the battlefield tour too. The tape we rented really took us step by step. Or, you can "rent" a human guide to ride with you. I think we basically only got out at Little Round Top and the site of Pickett's Charge (where we felt the ghostly riders).

Have a wonderful time, rain or shine, Patty!
