Someday My Prince Will Come

Ok I know I am stuck in a rut. I can't think of much to blog about lately. When our family moved, I quit my job. This is great since I admit I love staying home being lazy, but there is a difference between being lazy and being LAZY. I have nothing to do with my days. I think I mentioned in an earlier post that my daughter took an apartment in her name and my hubby and I moved in with her. This means MY life is still packed in boxes. This includes my books. I miss my books. I have craft books, I have cook books, I have books on witchcraft, spell craft, tarot card reading, stones, energy work and almost anything else along those lines you can think of. I am lost without my books. Yes, I know I can search the net, but so much junk is on here now days, what would happen if I try a spell and something goes wrong. I'm still trying to reverse what happened to the last guy I tired something on without my books. I keep waiting and hoping and kissing this frog..Maybe someday I will happen upon the right spell. Do you think when I do he will turn into a prince? Hmmmmm

Hi Autumn, I noticed your comment on Connie's blog, and thought I'd drop by and say hi. So, Hi! :-)

I know the feeling, the difference between lazy and LAZY...when I first moved to Denmark, I was on a tourist visa and couldn't work or study. I though it would be a nice break, but it's difficult to do stuff when there's nothing pressing to do. I was driving myself mad within a week. Couldn't you take just a few books out of the boxes at a time, and rotate them, so you have some stuff to look at and do? Also, what kinds of tarot readings do you do? I've been reading on and off for maybe 15 years now, but very much on my own, and am curious to know how others view it and do it.

And, by the way, that is a wonderful picture, and I think that frog is cute, even if he stays a frog forever!

Hi Kimananda, Welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy it. I'm book marking yours and will look forward to reading it. Yes I could unpack a few books but they are in a spare bedroom at my ex-husbands house and the boxes are not lined up so it would be a real pain to find them. I may have to though, since it looks like we are going to stay with my daughter longer than I had hoped. It's great that you read the tarot cards. I have 3 or 4 decks, but I don't do much with them. That is one area I really would love to be able to study more about. I keep thinking when my life settles down I will take a class on them, but right now I just enjoy the books and fooling around with them.
I'm glad you like the frog That picture was taken a couple of years ago when the hubby and I attended a local witches ball at Samhain.

I don't use books for my spells much anymore. I admit you have to be careful what you do on or with people. I had a friend who's boyfriend was abusive and she forbid me to cast a spell on him, but she didn'tsay i couldn't cast a spell on both of them. I cast a spell to reverse power in the relationship. Well he stopped beating on her and she started beating on him, lol. The spell has finally evened out and now they both beat on each other and when things get really bad there oldest son calls the cops on them.

Try using spells you make up yourself, with practice I've found they work best.

Connie, I like the idea of being in transition. It sounds much nicer than thinking of it as chaos lol. I know things will get better. It is just me being a typical Libra; I can't stand it when things are out of balance.

Dragonfly, I had to laugh when you told me about your spell reversing. That happens way too often. That is why I really don't do many spells. I agree, they work better when you do them on yourself than on others. I have learned that the rule of 3 usually comes back at you. Things often turn out worst in the long run when you do someone wrong.
I'm glad everyone enjoyed the post.
