Sunday photo's

Today was one of those beautiful days where you wanted to spend the day outside. My hubby and I did just that, starting the day off by driving up to Williamsburg. Instead of going to the Colonial area where I had originally thought about going we decided to take the Colonial Parkway. It is a lovely wooded road that goes from Yorktown to Jamestown. Along the way you will find the James River. There are several places that you can pull off so we stopped and I took a few pictures.








I found a few treasures along the way



Even the ants and spiders came out






To play among the flowers and enjoy the warm sunshine



Later in the day we met up with family for a picnic at the park.



We ended the day watching the ducks swim on the water.



I am so glad spring has finally arrived.
