I hate beta blogger
I hate beta blogger. I have messed up my entire blog with it,when I changed templates. Now that Christmas is almost here I wanted to change back to the plain one that they offer until I find something else I like. I can't change the settings now. Grrr
I opened a blog at wordpress, but it won't let me transfer the beta blog to it, so If I go with it I have to hand move every entry I have. That is over 400 and all my photos will have to be reloaded and I will lose all my comments. Maybe I should just start reading a good book and forget about blogging GRRRRRR
(I have temporarily removed the link to the wordpress blog until I have time to see how trouble it is going to be to move everything. If you read an earlier post with the url, you can still view me there I am just not listing it for a day or so)

I am so sorry you are experiencing Blugger. I think you are a brave and wonderful person for (a) taking the chance on Beta (b) trying to move to WP (c) keeping your readers/fans/followers in mind.
I wish youu well in wherever you land!
That is why I haven't changed mine yet. I'm too scared and everyone hates it.
If you look it will still be there it's just hard to figure out so I always call Stelle and she talks me through it.
Don't give up just breathe deep.
I'm scared to change over, too. Been hearing some horror stories such as this one! I don't think your blog looks bad at all, but I forgot what you had before.
