Tick Tock, Tick Tock

Well, here it is Thursday, and I have been waiting since Monday for someone to come back and finish up my apartment so I could get everything back into place again.
Tick Tock, Tick Tock, time is slipping by and I am still frustrated. I've been told that the floors will be done today. I sure hope so, I'm sick of the mess out here. Right after we moved into these apartments a new owner took over and it has been a constant upheaval of changes. They don't get finished with one project before something else is started.
Do you remember this?

That photo is of the old laundry room which is right next to our building. This is how it looked when they first started tearing it down. This was last May It stayed like that for weeks. Then it looked like this

It's been like that since hmmm maybe July. Now here it is February and all of the sudden they sent a crew out to bust it up. So for a week now it has looked like this

I questioned the crew yesterday and they said we are getting all new bushes and flowers. In the mean time here is what you see out front.

Those bushes you see are ripped up and are being thrown away. The ground is soft and now things are muddy. Gee maybe if I'm lucky I can track some of it on my new floors..IF THEY EVER COME PUT IT IN....growl!!

For us the problem with any construction is lack of money, #1 for us. and the other two is lack of time and knowledge.

I don't how well the people in your apartments gets along.
But I knew the manger's of some apartments and they planted fresh veggies around so all can enjoy.

the apartments we Used to live in kept having to replant...the plants would die as soon as they were planted...I think it was the soil or the mulch they were using...
I hope you get your Normal Life back soon!!

Geez...no wonder you're getting so frustrated with it all! It shouldn't be taking them all this time to get those things done. As for the live plants they're ripping out, hopefully they'll be planting them somewhere else instead??

That seems so frustrating and stressful! I hope all of this is resolved soon, I can't imagine how disruptive this kind of change must be.
