My Saturday
I shopped all day yesterday and this is all I came home with..
I hate shoe shopping because I have hard to fit feet. Even in the expensive shoe stores I can't find comfortable ones. This pair came from el-cheapo Pay-less shoes.
Oh I lied, I did buy a cute little vegetable cutter. It was pretty much a wasted day.
My daughter did manage to find a few cute things, so she was happy. On the plus side she treated me to a nice lunch at Red Lobster. We both had the Ultimate Feast...Yummy. I was full by the time the main dish arrived because I filled up on salad and these
I love there biscuit!
The ones I make at home are never the same but these are close
Red Lobster Biscuit Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
* 2 cups buttermilk baking mix, Bisquick
* 2/3 cup milk
* 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
* 1/4 cup butter, melted
* 1/4 tsp garlic powder
PREPARATION:
In mixing bowl, mix together baking mix, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms, then beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop from spoon onto ungreased baking sheet and bake at 450° until golden brown, 9 to 10 minutes. Mix together butter and garlic powder. Brush over hot biscuits and serve hot. Makes 10 - 12.

I did a little "retail therapy" yesterday myself...I bought a purse!
I've made this exact recipe...very yummy...but I've never once eaten at a Red Lobster so I have nothing to compare it to!
I bought the same pair of shoes on Friday! LOL I actually bought 4 pairs of shoes, I found too many that I liked but thank goodness for buy one get half off the other!
I can relate to the shoe thing. My kids call me feet "mud squishers" because they're fairly wide (and because my kids are brats!). So buying shoes is almost as demoralizing as trying on bathing suits!
I have such sensitive feet, finding shoes is almost impossible for me too. Hey, if those shoes fit you and you like them, doesn't matter where they came from.
Thanks for the biscuit recipe, I think I'm going to try it, I love their biscuits and there isn't a Red Lobster here on the island, can you believe it? I miss it!
Yep, those biscuits rock!
Love the shoes.
Your shoes look comfy! The food sounds scrumptious!
Thanks for the recipe. I love those. How nice of your daughter to take you out.
We are back to remodeling so that is what we were doing.
