One of those days

As I was getting ready for work this morning I happened to glance into the mirror and thought to myself. Oh my god, my boobs are soooooo saggy. I looked at my belly and saw the flab, and just let out a sigh. I finished dressing and remembered that I had to pay my car insurance. I called it in and as I was hanging up the rep. thanked me for being a good customer. I thanked her and commented that I had had the policy a long time. Yes she said..I noticed you got it before I was born...
Thanks dear I thought..Now I do feel old....
Can you tell it is going to be one of those days.

OMG,

I have had a few slams myself. Not long ago I was at The Golden Corral and the waitress asked me if I was a senior citizen. At 57 (then), I fit the category sometimes and sometimes not, depending if it is 55 or 60. I asked her what the cutoff age was and she said 60. I said no. AND SHE SAID, "NO???"

Boy, I coulda slapped her.

she will be a crone in a blink of an eye.. I have to laugh at young girls who think they aren't going to age. Yep, I would have slapped her too!

*snort* Sorry to hear you were having such a crummy friday. I dread getting older not because of the getting older part, but because at only 28 I've got the memory of a 50 year old (or so my dad tells me). I'm probably going to be wandering lost around town, drooling on myself and babbling incoherantly by the time I'm 50 if my memory is THIS bad already. LOL

I hope you're having a GREAT Saturday, and that your long weekend goes fabulously!

Young upstart! And yes, there are days like that. Usually they hit when I'm feeling particularly good about myself.

The blog looks great!
