ABC Wednesday Letter K

This week was hard for me, The only thing I seem to have among my photos that started with a K is one of my Kitchen.
I think it is one of the few times it has ever been completely clean. I live in an apartment and as you can tell from the photo the kitchen doesn't offer much space. In my dreams I have a huge country kitchen with a big table that can hold all of my family. There would be a fireplace to keep us warm and cozy on cold winter days. A delicious smell of home made pies and cakes would always be in the air..
Oh and a maid would do the dishes. Awww dreams are such fun.
And so is ABC Wednesday so be sure and stop by Mrs Nesbitts Place

Here is a favorite recipe of mine for you to cook in your kitchen
(See below Photo)

Mix in a pan, sugar, flour and cocoa. Then add egg yolks, milk and vanilla. Stir. Cook over medium heat until thickened. Pour into already baked pie shell. Cover the pie with meringue and bake at 350º until brown. About 3- 5 minutes

I know how you feel about the small kitchen; ours is more functional since I renovated but when we have a crowd we need to eat outside as our dining area is small.

Kitchen is a good post, after all most of us visit ours at least two to three times a day. And some of us many, many times more. Oh, gotta go. I think I hear my refrigerator calling. ;-)

Kitchen is perfect for the letter K! I know what you mean about the country kitchen, that would rock. I think I made a pie just like that called Mississippi Mud Pie, yummy! No meringue though, just whipped cream. Awesome.

I know what you mean, I would love to have such a country kitchen too. I can't complain though, my kitchen is ± 2.50 by 7 mtrs, so not too small ; )
Have a great day !!
