Sky Watch Friday
I love this shot. Birds flying high and alone always make me feel a sense of freedom. Just think how wonderful it must be to soar along. Not a care in the world. This guy certainly seems to be enjoying his day. Do you think knew he would be shown on Sky Watch Friday and is just showing off for the camera?

I, too, love photos like this. Actually, I think I sort of envy the bird being able to do this.
I feel the birds I shoot always show off, because they fly back around for another shot. I think its funny. This is a nice capture. Very free.
wonderful photo!!! it´s fantastic
Hi Patty, thanks for peeking in on my Skywatch.
I like to catch(on camera) the birds flying, they are sooooo graceful.
We were in Gettysburg last summer, I know your will like that, it is very nicely presented. Being from Nebraska (neutral territory) we have relative on both sides.

Wonderful job, Patty! What an interesting sky.
Wonderful shot!!!
What a gorgeous shot! I keep trying to catch one of those birds in a good shot but the stinkers always fly out of range or hang right over the house until I get the camera and then zoom off. Thank you so much for your visit and kind words at Raven's Nest.
Very lovely Sky Watch. Solitary birds have a way of drawing our eyes, do they not?
that shot came out so nice. i tried to get one a few weeks ago and my bird was to blurry...
very neat
I know what you mean about feeling a sense of freedom. I sure wish I could soar around like that bird. :)
I love seeing this. Congrats on capturing it. Usually I'm too busy gawking to ready my camera.
Good. Beautiful flying bird and sky.
There really is a sense of freedom, of soaring without a care. Lovely.

A lone bird against the vast sky is always a winner for me.
