By the light of the moon

Did anyone see the moon tonight? I did and it was gorgeous. It is one of those big fat round moons that is so bright it seems to glow even against the city lights. As my daughter and I were driving home from the store tonight we looked up and noticed it, we both commented about how pretty it was and how much we enjoy the full moon.
Much to my surprise my daughter started talking about how amazed she is and how much in awe she is of the moon.
Mom she said...Do you realize that every single person on the entire earth from the beginning of time has looked at this same moon...
Everyone from the cave men to Kings and Queens have looked at it.
Jesus looked at it, and the witches have danced under it.
Men in the Civil War and battlefields have seen it, and every single person that you and I are related to have looked at it.
That is pretty amazing.
I had never really thought of it that way.

When did she get so smart

I thought the same ways as your daughter did that everyone in world sees the same moon and sun.

I posted a picture of the moon also.

I saw it! Adam had gone out to the garage and he came back in to tell me to come outside. He held me to him and we admired it for several minutes. It was very beautiful.

It was a very powerful and spiritual full moon indeed! How wise of your daughter, so true. I suppose that is why a lot of us worship Her, she is so much more infinite than us.

Your daughter said wise words... She's true, the same moon, the same sun and the same stars are there for us forever... When our "kids" say something so creative, mature and spontaneous, it's always a little shocking - where's the kid, gone already?! LOL Loved your moon photo, beautiful! Here the full moon had an extra bonus with its partial eclipse! I also took a photo, but it's far fom this beauty!

Kisses from us, Autumn!
