Cinnamon Orange Soap

Cinnamon Orange Soap

This fresh, energizing soap is a good choice for a man's gift.
The palm oil makes the bar hard and long lasting and the almond oil makes
this a superfatted emollient soap. If you wish, add powdered cinnamon
to make an attractive speckled bar. Use a plastic container as a mold.

This recipe makes four large bars.
If you wish, trim the edges to make
an interesting shape.


Melt together:
2 cups grated pure vegetable soap
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup palm oil

Add after the soap has melted:
1/4 cup almond oil
10 drops sweet orange oil
5 drops cinnamon oil

Optional: 1/4 tsp.powdered cinnamon

Mix the fragrance oils and the extra oil into the melted soap.
Pour into the prepared mold.
