More Decorating

I wanted to show you a few more photos of the decorations that both my daughter and myself have in our homes.

My daughters fireplace

Her Corner Tree

My grandson and I under the tree

A smaller tree in the loft

Do you think he is waiting on Santa

Another shot of her main tree..there is another one in the dinning room

This next set is from my house, for someone who doesn't really like Christmas I seem to have a lot of decorations.

Maggie thinks she is a Christmas Cat

Snowmen and Santa's on top of my computer hutch

This little tree lights up and looks really pretty at night

I'm not sure if you can tell from the photo but this tree is Purple.

My main tree, It is small and I have never liked this tree, but it is a good size for the apartment. The bottom string of lights isn't working for some reason. They are the built in kind so I am not sure what is wrong. I may look for a new one after Christmas when everything goes on sale.

This is my Christmas Cactus. I just bought it about a week ago. My mom has had one for years and it is about three times the size of this one. I don't have much of a green thumb, so I am not sure if it will survive, but maybe it will.

And finally my poinsettia, which will probably live forever and I will eventually throw away.

Well I hope you have enjoyed my Christmas tour

Were I still into that whole "decorating for the holidays" thing I'd want to have a tree in every room but as it is, I barely have the ambition to pull my little pre-lit fiber optic one out of the box and clear a place on the end table for it. How pathetic is that? And to think I used to deck the halls from one to the other ... sigh ...

Your house and your daughter's look lovely - very festive!

Carrie
My daughter has three big trees, and three or maybe four table top trees.
I have one big tree and three table top trees and one small tree in a ceramic pot..OH and another big tree in the shed at my mom's that I don't have room for, and I plan on buying a small table top fiber optic tree...so lets see that is something like a dozen trees between us
oh I forgot the tiny red fier optic one I have on my bathroom sink that runs on batteries..ha ha
