Chit Chat
Is it just me or does the sun only seems to shine on the days your inside at work. We had beautiful blue skies this past weekend and all day yesterday. The temperature was in the 70’s. Awww a tempting taste of spring. Well as luck would have it I am off this morning and will be off again tomorrow, work two days and then have an extra long weekend. I will have four days off, and guess what. Yep, it has turned cold again. I think the high this weekend is suppose to be around 50 which isn’t bad, but its a far cry from the mid 70’s. Oh well, I plan on making the best of it because I have plans!
Do remember a few weeks back when I went to visit Endview Plantation
Well this weekend they are having a Civil War Re-Enactment on the grounds and it is open to the public. I’ve been wanting to attend one of these for the longest time. It should make for an interest blog post early next week, so stop back by to see what I find that day.
(From the website)
In May 1862, Confederate soldiers retreating to Richmond were attacked by pursuing Federal troops. With a Union victory, Confederate supplies would fall into enemy hands, the Southern capital would fall, and the Rebel government would collapse. The outcome hinged on the ability of these soldiers to stall the Federal advance at the sleepy town of Williamsburg, Virginia’s old colonial capital.
Today, nearly 150 years later, come see the battle recreated at historic Endview Plantation, only a few miles from the original battle site.

Our weather has been up in the 70's the past 5 days. Today its cloudy and we are suppose to have storms moving in, then cold weather again. I am so ready for spring to hurry up and get here.
I am looking forward to the civil war re-enactment! Have fun!!
Debbie
We got the same thing here. It was in the 80s this weekend and it was actually 70 when I left for work. It is now a frigid 48 degrees.
It cold here in single digits.
I could use more spring like weather.
Coffee is on.
Patty,
Hope you got a chance to enjoy the warmth today. And I hope the rain holds off for your visit to Endview Plantation. Looking forward to your post.
