Grandkids and Grand cats

If you read my last post you know I was out and about yesterday. It was a beautiful day and my daughter picked me up after she finished work (She cleans houses for a local company and usually is done by 1 or 2 in the afternoon). We got my grandson, and had a bite of lunch at one of our favorite local Chinese restaurants101_0064

As you can see Mr. Bunny came along too

After we ate my daughter stopped by her house to change and we headed into Williamsburg for a bit of shopping.

Look at this great X0 bag I found

I love the new spring colors and this pink is great!

After we looked around awhile we stopped in here

Awww the sweet signs of spring were with us.

Today is cold again, and I am off to work, but the weekend is almost here. It’s suppose to warm up a little and I am ready!

Oh how fun! Does you daughter still work her night job?

She still works at night, but not as many as she use to. We usually babysit one or two nights a week now. Her boyfriend is finally starting to help a little by keeping Cody. His dad(who I call the sperm donor) hasn't seen him in almost a year and a half, so that side of the family is no help. Once in a blue moon my ex and his girlfriend help out but not often. I miss not having the little guy as often, but is nice that Dean and I have more time alone too.

Looks like you had a wonderful time! I haven't seen my grandson for almost two weeks and suffering serious withdrawl symptoms that only a Grandma would understand. I may have to 'baby-nap' him soon!

Hope you have a great weekend,
Debbie

I love that purse! Would you tell where you bought it? You are lucky to be so close to your daughter. My youngest adult daughter lives in the apt. below us and I baby sit her daughter. But I haven't seen the other three grandkids since they were here at Christmas! They only live a short ways away in the next town, but their parents don't ask us over or bring them over. My DIL acts like we aren't welcome when we do go there and since I'm going through breast cancer treatments I would really like to see the kids more often so they could know me better. My youngest grandson is afraid of me! He was two in Jan., his birthday is an hour and a half after mine. I've only ever given him one bottle when he was a baby and have NEVER even changed a diaper. I've never baby sat him. The other grandparents do it all and are always welcome there or the kids are allowed to visit them over night. We aren't. There's no reason for this either. Sorry this got long, but I wish that I could spend a fun day like you did, with my own grandkids.

I stopped into your blog but your comments area wasn't working, so I hope you come back by here again.
I got the purse at Marshalls, but TJ Max stores have them here in our area too. I only paid 16.99 for it.

Ice cream and your grandson - who could ask for a better combination? We haven't exactly had warm enough weather to go out and do these sorts of things yet but hopefully with the official start of Spring less than a week away, we can do that before too long. I would just like it to make up its mind what it's going to do as all of this warm one day, freezing again the next is making me crazy! Or maybe that's the menopause??

Patty, I tried to make the comments area work today. When I checked back there was a message there, so maybe now it does work? Like I said, I really don't know what I'm doing yet. Plus I'm not that computer smart. Still learning as I go. Hope you'll go back and try again!
