Remembering
Today I am remembering all the men who fought and died at Gettysburg Pennsylvania and Vicksburg Mississippi. (Major battles of the Civil War were fought July 1-3 1863). At lest two of my great great grandfathers saw battle in Vicksburg July 1-3 and were captured on July 4, 1963. I honor them today and all the men who fought and died for what they believed in.

I don't believe I had in direct relatives fought at Gettysburg. But I did have directed relatives that served in the union army.
Coffee is on.
I'm not sure whether any of my relatives fought at Gettysburg either but I do have a relative on my mom's side who caught a minnie ball in the leg at Vicksburg.
