It's beginning to look a lot like SNOW

Dashing through the snow in a one horse open sleigh....

Ohh ok so there isn't enough snow to do that..I can dream can't I..
Hi Everyone, did you think I got lost in retail land? Well I almost did. We have been working some crazy hours lately. For some reason that I won't question, I got the good luck fairy in my corner and got this weekend off. In fact I have three days off. I had intened to stay in my house all weekend and wait for the snow storm we were suppose to be getting (we have maybe an inch) but my daughter had other ideas, so we did get out for a bit and do some last minute shopping in Williamsburg yesterday. They had a bit more snow on the ground so my grandson and I got out and played in it a little

We also got some pretty photos of a local farm.

As you can see it is mostly mud, but I thought it made a nice photo.

Anyway other than that I have worked. We did take one night last weekend to visit Bush Gardens Christmas Town..I have lots of photos from there but am saving them for the next post.  I just wanted to catch up today and say hello and let everyone know I am alive and well

I'm surprised that that huge snow missed you all--at least most of it. We didn't get much either, Patty.. I was wanting to see a little --but we just got a dusting here plus lots of rain and sleet. Yuk...

Glad you got some time off. I know you will be glad when the holidays are over.

Merry Christmas, Patty, to you and your family.
Hugs,
Betsy

It most seem odd for you to have snow.
It been slushy here. More like what we call a January thaw.
Have a bright yule season.

Coffee is on.

We've only had one day of snow this year...unlike last year when we were snowed in for weeks...

It's a busy time of year for sure...and having to work doesn't help...well it does..it helps pay the bills but it doesn't help with the preparation and spending time with family. I work right up till Christmas Eve and then I have 4 days off...yippee!!

Hope you have a fantastic week!

How did all the snow miss you??? You look like you're having a great time in spite of the lack of white stuff!

If you want enough snow for that one-horse open sleigh ride then you need to come up this way as we have more than enough to go dashing through after receiving almost two feet from Winter Storm Albert. It looks a lot nicer from the house than it does from the driveway holding a shovel, too!

It's nice that you had a chance to get out with your daughter and grandson for a little bit, too. And that you had some time off to do it!

Glad you got at least a little snow to put you in the Christmas spirit. We got a bit more here, but nothing like what they got in Western Va.

Hope you survive the days before Christmas in retail. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

It's good to hear from you! One of my sisters-in-law also work at retails, and hate this time of the year as well! Too much work and badly paid for all the stressing time.
Suh beautiful photos of the snow! Here's the oppopsite, Summer just arrived bringing lots of heat and bright days! At least here in Petropolis is bnot as warm as in Rio, nights are cooler!

Kisses and love from us, have a sweet Christmas night!
