Updating

Wow, I checked the date of my last post and realized it has been almost a month since I have updated. Is anyone still checking to see if I am alive ha ha

I really don't know where the days are going, but time seems to be flying by. I have to admit it has been a really long winter and I am so happy to see spring is finally arriving in my town.

I am finally feeling better after suffering a bad case of seasonal depression this year. I think it was just a variety of things that started before the holidays and just keep going.  You probably remember me losing a friend around the Christmas, and also making contact with someone from my past. Finding that person hurt me more than I realized and it has really shaken me to the core. Twelve years is a long time to hold old feelings, but they were there just under the surface and it took me awhile to deal with them again and put them where they belonged.
Of course becoming a grandmother again has been a positive thing, but somehow has left me feeling old. Sigh..I just don't know where the time has gone. It seems like I should still be the young mother and not the grandmother, but time did slip by and here I am.

Noah is growing like a weed and is keeping his mommy busy. Cody of course is growing right along with him and I can't believe he is going to be five in May.

My hubby and I spend some time together this past weekend and went on a day trip to Richmond VA to some of the Civil War battlefields. I will post some photos and tell you about them in my next post..

I just asked about you yesterday!!! Perhaps you felt the vibes! I'm glad you're okay -- it was a long, hard winter for many of us.
Your grand children are beautiful!

Welcome back Patty, glad you are feeling a bit better. I have not been blogging much either - I think I've been too busy being granny too!

Happy Easter to you and yours, dear Patty!! Having had Corey home the last few days and making my Easter dinner yesterday, today I am relaxing and catching up with my blogging friends:-)

I'm always wondering too where the time has gone! I find as I get older the time goes by faster and it's scary. lol Omigosh, your baby grandson is getting so big, what a little sweetheart! I can't get over how much Cody has also grown, I remember when we became friends through our blogs, he was just a couple of years old!!

Looking forward to seeing your pictures from your day trip. xoxo

For so long now I have felt as if I were still 19. The true age is beginning to catch up with me though.
