Surprise package

In today's mail I had a notice to pick up a package at the post office. You can imagine my delight when I got there and found this waiting for me.

It was Witches!! I love witches and collect them. I use to keep mine on display year round, but now save them for the fall. (These are going on my shelf that doubles as my altar)
Anyway I want to say a big THANK YOU!! to CARRIE. She sent these beautiful things to me for no reason other than she thought I would like them. Isn't she sweet!. I love everything. She told me that the corn husk doll is hand made. I'm not sure if you can tell from the photo but she is wearing a black cloak and has a broom in her hand. She even has a tiny little pentacle (which had fallen off and I found after I took the photo)The other one is made of clay and has a cauldron that doubles as an incense burner. Both things were made by Carrie's mom. She also included some incense and a bunch of sage so that I can cleanse and bless my home for Ostar/Spring equinox. How thoughtful.
Thanks again Carrie!!

That is quite the thoughtful gift. I love unexpected gifts. I routinely give friends hints of my love for unexpected gifts. But they never get the point. Oh well.
