Wake up!

I must have been really tired last night, because somehow I set the clock wrong to get up this morning. I needed to be up at 7:40, so when the clock went off I jumped up. As soon as I did I realized my husband was still sleeping beside me. I nudged him asking what time was he suppose to have been up. 6:30 was his reply. Ohhh your late I said, telling him it was now 7:45. No he said to me, it is only 5:45. My clock was wrong and had gone off TWO hours early. Ohhh I groaned. Well as luck would have it, the dog wanted out, so I got up, took me and her both to pee and crawled back in bed. I reset the clock and drifted back to sleep. When the clock went off again my husband was getting dressed. He informed me that it was now SIX FORTY FIVE. I had only been sleeping an hour and was awake ONE HOUR before I needed to be AGAIN! Somehow I once again had the time wrong. I fixed it AGAIN and drifted off for the last hour. Needless to say it was not restful sleep. I think I need an old fashion wind up clock. Either that or break down and put on my glasses to set the clock instead of trying to do it in a sleep induced fog.
On the bright side I finished my second day of training today for the new job.
It was all done via the computer and at my own pace. The register seems like it will be fairly easy and is done with a key board. The one I used at the pet store was a touch screen and I always hated it, so I am happy with the new system.
I start on the sales floor tomorrow, and have been assigned a buddy for tomorrow and Friday. Thank goodness, because I don't know shit about ladies wear brands. I'm a thrift store, walmart, target, and kmart kind of gal and names mean nothing to me.
I already have a schedule for the next four weeks, and I have off two three day weekends. YIppie.

Hi, Autumn. Thanks for visiting my blog and for the nice comment.

Congrats on the new job. Hope everything goes well for you and you don't come home with an aching back and sore feet.

Will bookmark your site and invite you to visit me again. I notice from your commenters that there are several I'm familiar with.

Have a great day.

I've never done retail. Oh I did some when I was running my ceramic shop.

Confession time...I've sat my alarm to go off in PM instead of the AMs. and it made things pretty hectic around here.

Sometime last week. I mailed off your hippy package.

Since I moved in with Adam I have yet to have an alarm. But then this is coming from the gal that walks next door to work and doesn't have to be there until 9.

I'm so excited about your new job. I hope you love it. You deserve it.

What a bummer! That is so weird about your clock Autumn. I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight.

I hear ya, I'm not a woman into trends either and am so totally uncomfortable with the whole fashion world.

Funny you should post about an alarm clock...I was having trouble with the one in the other bedroom and finally just pulled the plug on it. Imagine my shock when it started buzzing again...I forgot there was batteries in it! lol Good luck with the new job:-) xox
