ABC-Wednesday

We are on the letter P....so today I am showing you my photo of a peacock.
I had planned on showing the photo I had of the albino peacock that is at our local children's farm, but unfortunately it was one of the photos that got deleted off my blog.
I would also like to use another word for P
PLEASE...Please back up your photos if you keep them on the computer. Don't be foolish like I was and think you can do it later like I did. I have been able to recover about 3/4 of my photos but I am still heart sick that I lost so many.
On the bright side my husband and I got a new camera this week. We had a Cannon Power Shot S1Is 10x and it broke so we sent it to Cannon for repairs. It turns out that it was a manufacturer defect, and they sent us a replacement. A refurbished S5IS which is a 12 times zoom. I am thrilled so look for some more photos to submit to ABC Wednesday

I love peaccoks. (I've only seen an albino one once, and it was amazing!)

I've never noticed how big their feet were though, but I can see them clearly on your pic.

:D

I will take a backup on my computer right away. Don't want to loose any of my photos.
Great P shot! And "Please" is a good word for the letter too. Come on over and visit my post and find your hobbitname!!!

When I was a teenager one of our neighbor had a pair of peacock and they roam the neighborhood.

Sorry for not coming over to comment sooner, but Jon took some time off work to enjoy the sunshine and we have been out and about on the motorbike.

There are some peacocks on a farm in our village. Often they sit on the gate and give us all a shock with their loud screeches as we pass by! LOL!

Thank you for the reminder about backing up our photos. I have a "million" of my granddaughter and each one is precious. I bought a Powershot S3IS last year and I'm still getting the hang of it. And now they've already got a S5IS? Sigh....
