It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
My daughter who is the queen of thrift stores and I spent the day together yesterday. I wanted to go to Colonial Williamsburg. This weekend is the kick off their for the holiday season. She of course wanted to go the every thrift store along the way. So we compromised and did what anyone would do. We did both!
Our first stop was the best, and we found a lot of Christmas things including this cute little treat jar.
We also found this little tree and the cloth under it. It fit perfect on my little table which was an earlier thrift store find.
We also found another tree which stands about 4 ft high and has the fiber optic needles. I picked it out and she actually picked the one I have but in the end she liked the bigger tree the best and since she has more room to display one we traded.
It turned out to be a good day of thrift shopping because she also found some games and puzzles for my grandson which had never been opened. She is putting them under the tree.
We finally made it to the Colonial area in the early afternoon. I always enjoy walking around the streets there.
Yesterday was a bit crowded as you can see from the photos
