Have you checked your medicine cabinet?

OK I admit it. I'm cheap. Therefore I buy store brands. I discovered years ago that acetaminophen was the exact same thing as Tylenol. It also cost at lest two or three dollars a bottle less, so I buy it. Unfortunately for me and my morning headache it has been recalled. I jumped on line to check the batch numbers involved. Yep, there it is.5KE0838. According to the FDA some pills may contain metal fragments. Those could cause throat or stomach problems. Gee big choice here. Do I want a stomach ache, throat problems or a headache. I'm going back to bed!
To check and see if your batch number is listed go to
Recall

The FDA advises consumers who believe they have the recalled acetaminophen to "discontinue use immediately" and call Perrigo's consumer affairs department at (877) 546-0454 for further instructions

Did it yesterday with my one small bottle. It's fine and we're primarily on ibuprofen.

Thanks. Your sister ran this one too.

Should you go to the doctor? That is scary.

I'm pretty much on only ibuprofen.

Sorry to hear that you had some of those.

I just heard a commercial on the radio by Tylenol telling everybody that none of their products were involved. I guess they are hoping to pick up some customers from this. Even though they do way overcharge.

I stopped using meds when I learned how to make my own medicinal tinctures from wild edibles. FOR INSTANCE....I have a UTI right now and it soooo wants to get into my kidney's but it is going away and fast because of a yarrow tincture I made this summer and tea made from nettle leaves.
For headaches, I use a hemp tincture.
I love nature!
