Bah Hum Bug

I really hate the holidays. For the last few years every Christmas someone I know has passed away. Last year it was my mom's neighbor who I had known since I was 12. She died on Christmas Eve, the year before my dad on Dec. 22, the year before that my mom's brother (forget the date but it was at Christmas). Now I hear of another family member who is not doing well. My Aunt in South Carolina is in the hospital in intensive care. She is bleeding from her lungs. She had heart surgery last week and they seem to think this is a complication from that. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Also I am not sure how many of you read Roc Rebel Granny, but her latest post is about her daughter Carol who is dying of cancer. She doesn't have much time left. It may be a matter of days or at the most weeks. Please remember her also. Such sadness at what should be a joyous season

I am sorry Autumn. Its always sad when we lose someone around the holidays. I have friends that lost their little 4 year old to cancer this summer and I have been thinking about them....this is going to be rough for them.

I'm pretty bad around the holidays. It seems something is always going to happen. Maybe this year will be grand for you!

Maybe their is a reason why people day in December. Which I don't know or even come close to under standing.

I have 2 uncle die in December and 1st cousin too.
One day when my mom and my Aunt Eve sat down to take a break fixing Christmas dinner the phone rang and one of the family friend died on Christmas day.

My Mom died the week before Mothers Day.
