Photo Hunters-Architecture

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
This weeks theme is Architecture. You can join the photo hunt by going

  • and view the blog list for them on my side bar

This is a photo of the Town Center in Virgina Beach, VA. Being 22 stories high. It is tallest building in the city. Since Virginia Beach does not actually have a downtown, the city decided to develop a shopping and dinning area in the heart of the city.
I personally think all it did was develop more traffic.

Yes sometimes development causes another set of issues. Your photo is great though. Thanks for stopping by our blog with your lovely comments. Happy weekend.

That's a nice building. Skyscrapers are great reminders of technological advancement. Sadly, sometimes development opens doors to some problems like traffic.

    Thanks for visiting me earlier.

    More traffic and parking problems!
Had an uncle who dreamed of retiring to Virginia Beach - he loved it.
Unfortunately he passed away six months before his 65th b-day.
Thanks so much for visiting mine.
The first picture is the Taj Majal in Atlantic City - the rest were taken in New York City where I live.
    Take care,
    Frances

It's been years since I visited Virginia Beach (I was born and raised in Northern Virginia). I can't imagine seeing the city with this tall structure...times have changed!

Thanks for stopping by my blog - great picture for this week!

Cool photo! I love to watch big chranes building things. The town to the south of mine needs a "Town Center"----not for shopping, but a downtown like my town has. They talk about it, but I don't know when they might do it. Thanks for coming by my blog. :-)

    Thanks for visiting my blog.

Good photo. Our city centre is low-rise and they've just decided to build a monster block in the new marina. Crazy!
